How to get a cake out of a pan

Getting a cake out of a pan can be really difficult sometimes. It well either not come out at all or… It will come out in crumbles. I have mostly had the problem of it not coming out so… I did some research, cause I am that kind of person. 😆

After doing my research I found that these tips work:

  1. Let the cake cool completely! You cant take a hot cake out of the pan!
  2. Run a knife around the edges a couple times so it is separated from the pan
  3. Dont use a lot of flour… I have tried to use a “bucket load” of flour for my cake but the flour kinda cooks unto the edges of the cake and it tastes terrible. I recommend not using any flour at all… instead:
  4. Use cooking spray or canola oil. I usually use cooking spray cause… I guess cause I just always use it! 😆 I would heavily grease your pan and then put your cake batter in.
  5. After greasing your pan, letting the cake cool, then running a knife around the edges, flip the pan upside down on to a plate… or whatever surface you are using. Hopefully, your cake will come right out!
  6. REMEMBER… GREASE YOUR PAN BEFORE YOU PUT THE BATTER IN!!!

I hope that this helps! If it doesnt… please let me know!

If you have any questions or comments… tell or ask me and I will try to get back to you ASAP!

Thanks for reading!

NOTE: These tips are for ROUND pans… I am not really sure that these tips will work for a cake sheet…

Idea

Mix together 1/2 cup of butter, 2 cups powdered sugar and 2 tsp vanilla extract to make frosting. Don’t forget to add sprinkles!

P.S. This idea will works better for vanilla cake mix, birthday cake mix or, something like that because, I don’t think it would be good on chocolate…

Snickerdoodles

Add dry mixture to wet mixture. Mix until it looks like good cookie dough. In a small bowl mix the cinnamon and sugar together. Roll cookie dough balls that are about 1 1/2″ to 2″ long in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated then, place on prepared sheet. After placing 12 cookie balls on sheet, place it in the oven and cook for 10 minutes or, until brown on edges. Keep doing this process until all of the cookie dough is gone. Be sure to cool cookies before eating. I hope you enjoy!

Rice krispy treats

Ingredients

  • I stick butter
  • 1 1/2 bags of marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispy cereal

Directions

In a medium to large sized pot, melt the stick of butter at a medium heat or higher depending on your stove. Add the marshmallows to the butter and mix until completely melted. Slowly add the cereal a cup at a time and mix. Mix the whole gooey-sticky batch together well and remove from heat. Meanwhile, cover a 9″ by 12″ pan with parchment paper. Add the gooey-sticky batch to the pan and firmly press down. This step will take awhile because you have to cover the whole pan with the Rice Krispy mixture and, the mixture is very stiff and sticky. After covering he whole pan with the mixture, let pan sit for maybe a half a hour to a hour. Hope you enjoy!

Optional idea:

Add a couple drops of your favorite food coloring to the melted marshmallow to get colorful treats!
